The Role: General Manager Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

- To ensure meticulous planning , installation & commissioning activities in liaison with the stakeholders. Execute site supervision, resources mobilization & carrying out optimized installation.

- Ensuring effective site management and discipline to ensure safe and timely execution of the projects.

- Lead implementation of key process improvement/ business excellence initiatives / erection & commissioning of new plants & equipment for expansion projects for time to time.

- "Monitor maintenance budget utilization and analyze variance to take corrective action.

- Analyze maintenance costs based on usage of spares and consumables and identify areas of improvement

- Encourage cost reduction through effective utilization of spares and materials/ identifying initiatives to reduce breakdown and wastages"

- Identifying and implementing strategies for building team effectiveness by promoting a spirit of cooperation between team members.

- To ensure smooth functioning of the maintenance department with the overall objective of ensuring preventive and planned maintenance activities, meeting cost savings and safety targets in order to ensure that there is no production loss due to non availability of machinery.

- Manage standards such as safety, equipment availability, yield, throughput to meet or exceed Key Performance Index matrix by utilizing process tools and knowledge of system capability to set and achieve performance standards.

- Exposure in ESG Compliance would be an added advantage. Must have worked towards reducing environmental wastages and exposure to environmental laws is necessary

- Experience in low cost automation is must. Must have drive automation projects in the organization.

- Planning and Execution of Green Field Project but not limited to commissioning, installation of machinery & other utilities.

- Should have excellent leadership, interpersonal and relationship management skill

- Excellent communication skills

- Should have good negotiation & team building skills

- Must have worked with larger companies

- Well acquainted with green field projects

Qualifications & Experience:

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Electrical or Mechatronics)

Experience : 22-26 years (7 years as Senior Manager and above)
