General Manager - Logistics - Cement Manufacturing

We are hiring for one of the cement manufacturing companies.

Please find the below job description:

- Handling inbound & out bound logistics management with fleet planning and execution.

- Supervising transportation and warehouse management for outbound material.

- Designing Logistics interventions to carry out the smooth Dispatch of Cement.

- Planning and execution of Cement dispatch as per the monthly and daily planning keeping in view market scenario.

- Handling Railway activities like demurrage wharf age and engine detention charges payment and liaison with Railway authorities up to HQ level.

- Co-ordination with different department like Production, Marketing officials, M.O's, Dealers and Transporters to dispatch the optimum/ Targeted Qty on daily basis.

- Laisioning / Coordinating with Gypsum Mines and Fly Ash Thermal Plant for smooth and optimum supply of Raw material.

- Freight Review/Revision/ Fixation by the way of Tendering & obtain optimum/minimum freight by Negotiations with the contractors.

- M.I.S development by SAP and excel manipulation as per requirement.

- Preparing regular status reports for the top management.

- Handling freight bill passing in absence of concern person.
