Department Overview :
- The Human Resources Department at matrimony.com is a cumulative force of sub functions such as Talent Acquisition, Business HR Partnering, Talent Management, Training and Development, Compensation and Benefits.
- HR has leverage in setting up Policy & Processes across employee life cycle in the company and was also shortlisted for Business World HR Excellence Awards, 2015.
- The HR team is highly noted for its candidate experience, effective training and the culture it spreads across the organization.
Role Overview :
The Head - L&D is responsible for defining a L&D strategy for ensuring excellent execution fulfilling business timelines and cost efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Defining L&D need, Planning and budgeting
- Providing clear direction and inspiring the team to achieve against targets at all times, delivering results.
- Efficient stakeholder management with respect to business leadership, vendors and other external agencies.
- Ability to use appropriate technology solutions for smooth and speedy functioning of day-to-day requirements
- Define policy and process, setting strong methodology, governance and reporting mechanism
- Managing and ensuring timely updation of the job descriptions and making them available to the team.
- Designing strategies based on outcomes.

Education and Experience :
Graduate in any discipline and MBA HR from one of the premier schools, with minimum 15 years of professional experience in L&D or any other sub stream of HR function with minimum 3 years plus of L&D experience.
