General Manager - Joinery & Fit Out

Education: Bachelor in Architecture or Interior Design.

Experience: 20+ years' experience in Fit-Out Industry

Nationality: Indian

Job Responsibility:

- Accountable for overall management and administration of the Joinery & Fit Out division, which forms a part of the Supply & Installation BU.

- Responsible for ensuring productivity targets, financial objectives & KPIs as set are achieved and that all BU processes are running smoothly and promptly.

- Accountable for end-to-end management and administration, project planning and delivery, P&L, QHSE matters etc and ensuring the same standards and BU processes are implemented across all projects.

- Accountable for overall program mobilization and delivery, operations, planning, identifying key issues and constraints, setting key milestones, reviewing program progress and giving overall direction to projects.

- Accountable for all external stakeholder management with Clients, Subcontractors, Consultants, Regulators & Governmental authorities.

- Accountable to drive engaging and result-oriented discussions with stakeholders and to bring solutions and progress to the table

- Accountable for all internal stakeholder management with HR, PEL, Commercial & Contracts, HSE, Quality, Finance and other associated corporate and Divisional functions to ensure project delivery as per set program and contract expectations.

- Accountable to ensure that issues and concerns are addressed by routine engagement with respective functions

- Accountable for ensuring all build costs and associated revenue are accurately planned, forecasted, captured and reported

- Responsible for all financial objectives by preparing the annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions

- Responsible for all Joinery & Fit Out productivity targets, KPIs, and attainment.

- Undertaking any other responsibilities as directed and mutually agreed with the Line Management.

- Responsible for Coordination between client, site, sub-contractors & suppliers. Negotiation of prices with subcontractors & suppliers and various project stakeholders.

- Responsible for coordinating with respective regulatory authorities to inspect and comment on the completed fit-out works for the issuance of occupancy certificate.

- He must be Commercially astute, numerate, risk-averse & able to forecast project requirements accurately.
