The General Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and management to all segments of the business of our new IT and digitalization Software Development hub. His duties include establishing global strategies, visions and goals in keeping with company's Global guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a short and long-term strategic plan for the establishment and growth of the IT and software development hub within the established objectives and policies of "Corporate IT" and "Digital Products & Transformation".
- Team Building: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of IT and software professionals, aiming to reach a team size of 50 employees within three years.
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT and software projects, ensuring they align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the hub's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets. Responsible for the financial statements in accordance with the law.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Internal and external stakeholders to ensure the hub's initiatives align with the company's overall strategy and objectives. Strongly connect with employees and management to create strong employee commitment.
- Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the hub, staying abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies. Supervise the coordination of the intellectual property filing in collaboration with Headquarters.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations and standards and the Global Guidelines and maintain robust cybersecurity measures.
- Reporting: Review and report the activities and results of the HUB to the HQ and the heads of "Corporate IT" and "Digital Products & Transformation"
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT / Software Development management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in setting up and managing IT hubs or similar initiatives is highly desirable. Has significant experience in working with European / Western companies before, preferably spent some years abroad in Europe / US / etc.
