General Manager - IT - Mfg

Role: General Manager IT

Reporting to: Chief IT Officer

Experience: 18-20 years, including at least 2 life cycle implementations (ERP).

Strategic Planning:

- Evaluate the business needs with regard to information management, systems, equipment, support and training

- Ensure all necessary IT licenses are obtained as per management agreement and in accordance with IT standards and policies

Design and Implementation of Network, Hardware and Software:

- Ensure control and performance of network operations, system maintenance and technical support

- Ensure maintenance of existing network hardware, including firewall, routers, switches, wireless access points to ensure consistent access to organization and internet resources

- Oversee implementation, customization and administration of software applications (including ERP and Optivision) in different departments and ensure implementation of additional system solutions from external providers

- Maintain and configure server to ensure zero % downtime

- Ensure constant IT support is provided during major plant commissioning activities

- Monitor implementation of security systems (such as timely data backup, data security, access control, internet & pen drive usage, etc) to ensure information security

Trouble Shooting:

- Provide support and troubleshooting for various IT related issues to employees at plant, corporate and various regional offices
