Job Description:
Designation: General Manager - International Business / ExportsReports to: Director - International Sales
Location: MumbaiPurpose: - Drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with international clients.
- Manage backend support to the frontend sales team based in international territories.
- Making presentations, handling technical queries and addressing service requirements.
- Key customer relationship management.
Key responsibilities:- Actively manage and participate in all aspects of the sales cycle
- prospecting, presentation, sale attainment, collection, etc.
- Identify and qualify prospective customers for the designated territory.
- Arrange business development meetings with prospective clients.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Give effective sales presentations both virtually and in person meetings with prospects and customers about products, information, etc.
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Business visit to existing client & add new client in order to increase sales turnover in the Export Market.
- Plan and forecast sales activities to include attendance at trade shows, new product introductions, in-country product demonstrations (trial coordination).
- Identify, appoint and manage suitable partners.
Ideal Candidate:- Must be able to work effectively with diverse cultures.
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills,
- Be well versed in international market regulation in the:
- MENA region
- South East Asia.
- Ability to build rapport.
- Be willing to travel extensively when required.
- Preferably understands concept selling
Years of Experience:
- Min 15 - 20 years of experience in a similar role out of which 5 years must be in international sales.
- Qualification: B.E. Mechanical /Chemical
