General Manager - Internal Audit - CA - NBFC

Job Title : General Manager - Internal Audit

Department : Audit

Location: BKC, Bandra, Mumbai.

Job Purpose:

The main objective of this position is to manage a team of internal auditors for conducting risk-based on site internal audits, special reviews and carry out fraud investigations across all locations and to manage on site audits conducted through one of the big four audit firms.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide necessary inputs for the drafting of the annual audit plan.

2. Ensuring that an assessment of risks is incorporated into or forms the basis of all audit work planned and performed.

3. Ensure that reviews (Internal audits / investigations / special reviews including follow-up reviews) are performed as per approved plan and audit program.

4. Prepare audit program in the form of risk & control matrix for all reviews including fraud scenario on an on-going basis and get reviewed by Chief Internal Auditor (CIA).

5. Ensure that reports are prepared and closed as per timelines agreed.

6. Keep abreast of developments in the field of internal auditing, regulatory requirements, company systems, policies and processes, develop internal audit systems and processes.

7. Contribute in team training and development.

8. Provide necessary inputs for preparing the presentation, highlighting key findings of reviews performed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

1. CA with 8+ years of experience in the Internal Audit function and having exposure into Housing Finance.

2. Candidates with CIA qualification would be preferred.
