General Manager - Insights - SCM & Data Science

- Manage and analyze data in order to build data driven business insights and high impact data models to generate significant business value.

- This will involve creating models and processes to collect, distill and interpret data with a view to aid more informed decision making, examine and explore data from multiple sources with the goal of discovering insights which in turn can provide competitive advantage for our client.

1) Develop strategy to calculate of Business drivers affecting Sales & Forecast Sales.

2) Design roadmap & execution strategy leading to incremental Sales in respective Cities.

3) Develop sales strategy roadmap to increase market share.

- Develop demand forecasts using statistical techniques, trend analytics and derive inventory targets/norms as a part of annual demand/inventory plan.

- Collaborate with sales team for inputs related to market movement/product strategy/competitor strategy and develop comprehensive demand plan incorporating external inputs.

- Create a bottom up forecast collection system for input of Branch Sales/Branch Supply Chain and drive between bottom up and top down forecast.

- Leverage data to optimize strategies and analyze trends.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing strategies, customer targeting, and sales processes.

- Translate complex data into actionable insights/recommendations.

- Perform as a Lead Data Scientist by using and creating advanced statistical modeling techniques to develop descriptive, predictive, diagnostic, and prescriptive models that provide our stakeholders with improved business outcome indicators.

Preferred candidate profile:

- Should have 13 to 15 years of relevant work experience.

- Should have managed demand planning extensively of big scale.

- Proficiency in Analytics tools for data manipulation and statistical analysis is essential.
