This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing the HR function with a focus on industrial relations. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing IR strategies, fostering a positive work culture, and maintaining harmonious relationships between the Plants and its workforce.

Safety First Culture:

- Contributing the strategy development for the safety first culture Schedule A

- Guide the Plant teams to ensure the basic safety training and cultural activities Schedule B

- Ensure the compliances related to Safety and Environment

- Monitor and Ensure the compliance to the safety audit points / requirements

Strategic Initiatives:

- Formulate IR strategy for smooth IR operations in the Plant

- Guide the team in establishing the strategies for Election, LTS, etc.

- Ensuring smooth operation of Gate / Security

- Ensuring provision of good and hygienic work environment through appropriate housekeeping activities

- Ensure green development as per the plan

- Diversity Inclusion - Target 50% Women force

Ensure on-time availability of skilled work force

- Guide the Plant teams in enhancing the Skill level of work force

- Guide the Plant teams in implementation the ILUO Standards

- Monitor and Support the Plant teams in continuous training and cultural development activities

- Periodically review the skill improvement process and provide necessary guidance to enhance the skill level of work force

- Ensuring the employee life cycle activities are completed on time

Harmonious Industrial Relations:

- Ensuring the implementation of LTS as per plan (Formulating the COD, Counter Demands till signing the settlement)

- Maintain harmonious industrial relations climate in the non-unionised plants through a robust grievance handling process

- Ensuring 100% compliance to legal and statutory requirements

- Ensuring the closure of legal cases, appropriately

- Ensuring the smooth flow of disputes management (Disciplinary actions for internal issues, follow and closure)

- Ensuring all eligible employees are availing the welfare benefits (Mediclaim, Accidental insurance, Term life insurance, etc)

Shop Floor Discipline and Grievance Handling:

- Periodically review the Shop floor discipline (Status of ID issues, Actions Taken, Closures)

- Guiding the team in developing the team members in counselling, reprimendation, etc.

- Ensuring the Process for Grievance reporting and closure

- Monitoring the Grievance received and closed appropriately to ensure the smooth operations

- Ensure compliance to legal, statutory, regulatory requirements

- Guide the Plant team in ensuring the compliance (Statutory, Legal and other requirements)

- Ensuring the validity of all licenses and certificates (Statutory, Legal and other requirements)

- Ensuring smooth liaisioning with all government officials / offices

- Ensuring compliance to Legatrix Requirements - 100% Schedule B
