General Manager - Distribution Human Resources
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Planning for Distribution:- Partner with senior leadership and distribution teams to develop HR strategies that align with the company's distribution objectives and sales targets.
- Develop long-term workforce planning strategies to ensure that the distribution network has the right skills, capabilities, and capacity to meet evolving business goals.
- Conduct strategic workforce analysis to identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities in the distribution teams.
Talent Management & Leadership Development:- Work closely with the distribution leadership to identify high-potential talent and create development programs to fast-track career progression.
- Design and implement succession planning initiatives to ensure a continuous pipeline of leadership talent within the distribution teams.
- Oversee the development of sales managers and team leaders through targeted leadership training and mentoring programs.
Sales Performance & Incentive Strategies:- Collaborate with distribution and compensation teams to design incentive programs (commission, bonuses, recognition) that drive sales performance while ensuring competitiveness in the market.
- Develop and refine performance management frameworks for sales teams, focusing on aligning individual performance with broader distribution strategy.
- Support the performance review process, ensuring that performance data informs compensation adjustments, promotions, and recognition.
Employee Engagement & Retention:- Develop and execute employee engagement strategies to maintain high morale, motivation, and productivity across the distribution network.
- Work to reduce attrition rates by addressing employee concerns, improving job satisfaction, and offering career development opportunities.
- Conduct regular engagement surveys and focus groups to gauge employee sentiment and inform HR strategies.
Recruitment & Onboarding:- Lead the development of targeted recruitment strategies to attract top talent to the distribution network, particularly agents and sales leaders.
- Work with the recruitment team to implement efficient and effective hiring processes that identify candidates with the right mix of skills and motivation to succeed in a sales-driven environment.
- Ensure new hires are onboarded effectively, providing them with the tools, resources, and information needed for success.
Training & Development Programs:- Oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs for sales teams, ensuring alignment with strategic distribution goals and market trends.
- Partner with sales and product teams to ensure that agents and other distribution personnel are equipped with the latest product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging skill development, certification programs, and specialized training.
Data-Driven HR Strategy:- Utilize HR analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and their impact on distribution performance.
- Develop HR dashboards and metrics to track key indicators such as sales performance, employee engagement, attrition, and training effectiveness.
- Analyze workforce trends and recommend actionable solutions to senior leadership to enhance the distribution strategy.
Change Management & Transformation:- Lead HR-driven change management efforts to support new distribution strategies, digital transformations, or organizational restructuring.
- Provide HR solutions during mergers, acquisitions, or other strategic shifts, ensuring smooth transitions for distribution teams.
- Communicate change initiatives clearly and proactively to minimize disruption and maintain employee engagement.
Compliance & Regulatory Support:- Ensure all HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws, industry regulations, and corporate guidelines.
- Provide training to distribution teams on legal and ethical sales practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Ensure all regulatory training (e.g., licensing, compliance, ethics) is delivered and tracked appropriately.
