- GMHR Formulation Business
Job Descriptions (GMHR Plant Operations ) :
- Providing strategic & operational oversight to Formulations plants cluster OR HO Operations cluster having a large employee base.
- Responsible for driving recruitment & selection process for the cluster.
- Maintain the quality of hires by constantly evaluating the hiring process.
- Building future requisite organization in order to meet the long range plans.
- Participating in the Manpower planning process, providing appropriate advice to the line leaders in formulating the structure & maintaining the span of control.
- Maintain the MPC cost of the cluster within the budget & maintain appropriate manning ratios
- Championing change management processes for any new HR processes to be implemented.
- Drive the performance management process for the cluster.
- Develop a retention strategy with an aim of engaging & retaining key talent.
- Provide leadership to team members in driving various HR initiatives planned for the cluster & meeting the objectives with reference to HR measures.
- Build capability of the team (direct & extended) by front ending some of the programs& initiatives.
- Drive the employee relation strategy with an objective of enhancing productivity & flexibility.
- Respond quickly to grievances and close people related issues at the ground level.
- Work with HR COEs such as TA, Learning & Development, C&B, Talent Management and Co-create/execute all the initiatives rolled out from these COEs, customizing to the cluster needs. Be the bridge between COEs and cluster needs to identify gaps and provide solution.
- Maintain harmonious relationship in Operations facilities by ensuring minimal business loss caused by any unionized activity in any plant.
- Liasoning with the Corporate Legal team for decision on any critical legal actions / employee discontinuation or compliance related issues.
- Ensuring that all the Job Description are updated in the system and all the compliance related training are complied with.
(GMHR Formulation Business) :
- Providing strategic oversight of business divisions having an employee base of approximately 1200+ colleagues.
- Responsible for driving recruitment & selection process for the field organization.
- Maintain the quality of hires by constantly evaluating the hiring process.
- Building future requisite organization in order to meet the long range plans.
- Participating in the Manpower process, providing appropriate advice to the business in formulating the structure & maintaining the span of control.
- Maintain the MPC cost of the cluster within the budget & maintain appropriate manning ratios
- Championing change management processes for any new HR processes to be implemented.
- Drive the performance management process for the business.
- Develop a retention strategy with an aim of engaging & retaining key talent.

- Build capability of the field colleagues by front ending some of the flagship training programs.
- Participate in the Development Centre process for the field organization for assessing capability of colleagues for next role.
- Drive the employee relation strategy with an objective of maintaining flexible field force
- Respond quickly to grievances and close people related issues at the ground level.
- Liasioning with the ER COE for decision on any critical legal actions / employee discontinuation or compliance related issues.
- Ensuring that all the Job Description are updated in the system and all the compliance related training are complied with.
