General Manager/Head - Internal Audit - Manufacturing Industry - CA

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Planning and Execution:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive audit plan based on organizational goals and risk assessments.

- Conduct internal audits of financial, operational, and compliance areas to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement.

- Execute audit programs, including testing and documentation, to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the organization and recommend risk mitigation strategies.

- Collaborate with management to ensure that risk management processes are integrated into daily operations.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of internal auditors, fostering their professional growth and development.

- Assign audit projects, provide guidance, and review their work to ensure quality and effectiveness.

Audit Reporting:

- Prepare clear and concise audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans.

- Present audit results to senior management and the Audit Committee.

Continuous Improvement:

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization by identifying process enhancements and efficiencies.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Collaborate with various departments to facilitate open communication and cooperation in the audit process.

- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful audits.

Audit Technology:

- Utilize audit software and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audits.

- Stay current with emerging audit technologies and recommend their adoption when appropriate.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant with must have handled Internal Audit for manufacturing industry experience.

- Should have handled in-house audit team with working knowledge in SAP environment.
