General Manager (Head) - Finance & Accounts
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining key financial and operational metrics, analyzing and reporting monthly variance analysis, providing ad-hoc reporting & analysis and manage full scope of administrative areas ranging from statutory compliance, policy compliance, vendor management, contract administration, inventory management, security and safety of assets as well as personnel and adherence to legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
A) Accounting and Control :
- To ensure that the Finance and accounts processes are operating at the optimum capacity and handling accounts operations team to achieve the annual operating plan
- To establish and embed principals of financial controls by measuring the quality of general ledger account reconciliations, creating dashboards and metrics to measure quality of processes and controls
- Leading all reporting and financial planning for the group
- Identify and implement process improvements where required
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions
- Ensure appropriate financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are in place, documented, and operating as intended
- Actively participate in strategic initiatives and special projects when assigned or required
- Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results
- Approve or reject budgets
- Conduct risk management
- Evaluate and decide on investments
- Supervise a team of Accountants
- Allocate resources and manage cash flows
- Conduct profit and cost analyses
- Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information
- Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations
- Consult board members about funding options
- Recommend cost-reducing solutions
- Verify & Audit all the purchase/sale invoices and arrange their payment as per agreement. Prepare agreement for all client's.
B) Administration :
- Analyzing the need, developing and executing the support systems and putting in place the required systems for services like security, transportation, housekeeping, preventive maintenance, pantry operations, facility management etc.
- Liaison with government authorities, licenses department, regulatory bodies etc. for smooth and seamless compliance of required statutory and legal requirements
- Planning, organizing & directing work activities of the team members in order to provide prompt and efficient services to internal & external customers
- Driving contract negotiations and finalizing selected vendors / contractors
Qualification And Experience :
1. CA / ICWA/ CPA with Experience of 18-25 Years of Experience & In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
2. Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
3. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
4. Proficiency in accounting software
5. Solid analytical and decision-making skills
6. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
7. Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
8. Detail-oriented
9. Ability to readily adapt to and lead through changing environment
10. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
