General Manager: Group budget and budgetary control Key Responsibilities : - Assistance to be given to all the department by communicating effectively the approved and agreed budgets with all concerned - Controlling and approving the operation expenses documents in daily basis and aligning with the Budget control procedures - Responsible in using an accounting system that will record all actual costs after the approval of the documents. - Preparing financial statements that will compare actual costs with budgets, showing variances, disclosing the reasons for them, and taking any appropriate action based on the analysis of the variances reports - Responsible in making the variance analysis report summary regularly - Provide advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to department personnel to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies - Communicate and discuss the department's guidelines and procedures with employees to ensure responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities are defined and understood - Ensure proper and smooth co-ordination with other Department/ branches - Work closely with business managers to maintain a focus on current and future financial needs to satisfy business growth - Assist with external/Internal audits and act as liaison with external/Internal auditors.
