General Manager - Fraud & Risk Management - Financial Services

Our client is located in the USA, Singapore and India and they are ISO 27001:2013 certified. Their investors include prominent VCs like XYZ Venture Capital, BLUME, Village Global, Emphasis Ventures, Sweat Equity Ventures.

As a General Manager, you will be responsible for owning outcomes for a particular business unit.

What you will do:

- Defining OKRs for success for KPIs such as revenue, expenses, underwriting losses, product precision/ recall, etc.

- Thinking out of the box and identifying new growth opportunities where the company can build world class risk solutions either in-house or via partnerships

- Working with Product Management, Sales, Business Operations and Partnerships to shape the long-term product and business direction

- Collaborating with Product to define and prioritize solutions such as Identity Fraud, Account Takeover/Abuse Fraud, Transactions Risk, Unauthorized Chargeback Risk etc.

- Researching emerging issues impacting Fintech and E-commerce players in SE Asia and ideating on solving their digital risks

- Working with external partners, clients and data vendors to drive growth opportunities, as needed

- Promoting product-led growth culture

- Significantly delighting our customers by leveraging risk as an enabler of growth

Candidate Profile:

What you need to have:

- 10+ years of experience across Fintech, Banking, Financial Services

- Experience in defining requirements for score-based rules engines, statistical front end and back end models, risk queues, etc.

- At least Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Math, Science or an area of technology

- Prior experience of extensively working with risk and compliance teams to define needs, deduce insights and prioritize roadmaps

- Experience in building or enabling products in a start-up environment

- Top-notch verbal and written communication skills

- Experience influencing and collaborating at the executive level

- Innovative and creative skills to collect and interpret feedback and data to solve problems and monitor solution results

- Strong sense of product design and customer empathy
