- A qualified CA

- Integrity, accuracy and correctness in audited financial statements as applicable to listed companies

- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of the audit of quarterly and annual statutory accounts under Ind AS and IFRS to be approved by the Board of Directors.

- Ensure high standards of integrity in numbers and disclosures in accounts as required under Indian Accounting Standards, SEBI LODR and Companies Act etc.

- Ensure strict compliance with Ind AS, IFRS and company policies

- Timely closure of Books of accounts

- Ensure timely monthly and quarterly closing as per aligned process internally and with the auditors for getting the audit done by well before the date of the board meeting for circulation to the audit committee and Board of Directors

- Review of Financial Statement and SEBI results

- Review on a monthly/quarterly basis financial statement for review with CFO and further submission to shareholders.

- Review of SEBI results on a quarterly basis for submission to stock exchanges as per SEBI LODR

- Review of the annual report

- Timely closure of Audit

- On a quarterly basis, timely closure of audit of financial statements with statutory auditors keeping in view timelines for board meetings and handling the auditor queries and coordination with other verticals for timely submission of financial statements with audit committee and Board of Directors for their approval

- Compliance with IFC controls

- Compliance with IFC controls on a monthly/quarterly basis

- Review of Balance sheet schedules

a. Ensure periodic review of BS GL codes to identify early warning signals and to ensure consistency.

b. Review of BS schedules on a periodic basis to ensure compliance with Indian GAAP and ensure the closure of actionable raised

- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and accounting standards

- Implementation of new accounting standards and compliance with accounting policies

Other Board deliverables:

- To ensure preparation and review of quarterly Board deliverables (RPT Board reporting, Legal MAPA, Related party Omnibus approval etc.) and ensure timely submission of the same for the audit committee and Board of Directors

- Building awareness of accounting standards and practices throughout the organization

- To keep self and team abreast of changes in corporate laws and accounting standards - Ind AS and IFRS, Companies Act and identify changes applicable to Indus and to implement the same.

- Team Appraisals and Training

- Periodic review and appraisal of team members and providing training to team members as and when required
