Overall purpose of job
This position will lead Asia strategic projects and transformation initiatives to drive tangible results across our business in line with our Asia strategy. This will be enabled through supporting team members with skills in process excellence, project management, problem solving, and accelerating transformation to drive value creation. This position will ensure that projects and initiatives are well designed, resourced, executed and measured to achieve intended results and in line with stakeholder expectations.
Main activities/tasks
- Responsible to deliver Asia Transformational Initiatives to support Asia Business Strategy and ensure that initiatives deliver planned results and benefits.
- Responsible to explore internally and externally to ensure implementation of best in class initiatives in line with Asia Strategy.
- Responsible to explore identification of right resourcing for project and ensure right team for each initiative to help deliver project on time and per plan.
- Lead project teams across multiple initiatives to ensure that overall project activities, plans and schedules are well designed, implemented and managed.
- Facilitates the identification and preparation of timelines, dashboards, and financial scorecards to keep executive leaders current on progress and potential red flags in capacity, resource constraints, etc- .
- Drive transformation and change management efforts through the development of a clear case for change and collaboration with key stakeholders to influence desired buy-in, outcomes and results.
- Educate and coach project team members, sponsors and leaders by providing expert advice to ensure best practice execution.
- Coordinate internal and third parties resources to ensure projects are optimally executed.
- Work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders to build and maintain effective partnerships.
- Routinely explore and identify additional opportunities that can drive improvements in financial and operating results through the utilization of technology, process change, and/or organization transformation to deliver sustained, tangible, and measurable results.
Desired Qualities/Skills
- Strong leadership, technical competencies and working experience across business transformation, change management, process management, and/or productivity roles; Multinational experience desired.
- Continuous improvement or project management experience desired; Experience and desire to manage global projects across multiple cultures and cross functional business environments.
- Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills and the ability to verbally and in writing communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees.
- Ability to be flexible and to prioritize multiple responsibilities and activities in high pressure situations.
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently; proactive towards problems and issues.
- Bachelor's and / or Advanced Degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or Finance required.
- 10 to 15+ years in progressive leadership roles.
