General Manager - Finance - Mfg

We have an urgent opening for the position of General Manager with a very renowned Bangalore based Multinational Company.

- Manage and control overall performance of the cluster (Pants across India)

- Oragnise, allocate and manage budgets and actual performance

- Part GSC finance leadership team

- Support cluster growth on new initiatives

- Rebalancing -QVE, enhancement of exports

Guide & Supervise plant controllers on:

- Product Costing - Standard costing & variance analysis.

- Business activity / rolling forecasts such as raw material purchases, inventory, labor etc.

- Management for star products with analysis of change against standard cost on monthly basis.

- Work with project team and finalizing the estimates of investments as well as product level costing for the new products

- Review cost roll out in ERP for all new references and once in a year for all active references.

- Review computation of Transfer Price for all export products in line with company guidelines and intimating the same to all the respective countries.

- Monitor inventory reserves and obsolescence on a monthly basis.

- Investigate variances and resolving issues through root cause analysis.

- Good knowledge of ERP

- Knowledge of Taxation

- Part of monthly and quarterly review process.

Desired Candidate:

- Should be ICWA / CA / MBA.

- Candidate should have Prior experience of 12-15 years, manufacturing setup (Preferred)

- Good manufacturing accounting background and solid understanding of financial accounting systems

- Strong analytical and thinking skills; intellectual rigor and curiosity; problem-solving capability

- Technical capability to prepare, analyze, and interpret financial and operations data/reports

- Exposure to ERP systems & taxation

- Effectively leverages functional and cross-functional resources to solve problems, improve processes and meet objectives

- Ability to work with teams within and outside India

- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively throughout the organization

- Must be an independent thinker who takes initiative to implement change
