General Manager Finance

Summary:

Looking to hire smart, analytical people to work in Finance but eventually take care of different areas in the company subject to their performance and interest (over the next 2 years). The areas wherein we would want to seed these people include (not limited to) - Finance (multiple roles such as Treasury, Financial Controller, MIS), IT (Project Management, Business Partnering), Commercial (Network Planning, Revenue Management), Marketing (E-commerce, Customer Experience) etc.

Key responsibilities:

1. Help the Company take cost-benefit decisions.

2. Competition Analysis/Industry analysis

3. Management Reporting and Budgets. Track the company's performance vs the budgets.

4. Help various departments take financially prudent decisions.

5. Manage the Company's cash and liquidity.

6. Drive processes and automation throughout finance function.

Desired Qualifications:

- Open to MBAs from IIMs only.

Preferred relevant work experience:

-10+ years of experience. Current field not very analytical as we are looking for a diverse skill set for these future leaders.

Skills and knowledge:

1. Functional

a. Excellent MS-Excel skills (non-negotiable. Advanced Excel test will be conducted)

b. Extremely analytical (Case-study test will be conducted)

c. Strong MS-Powerpoint skills

d. Extremely good communication skills

2. Behavioral / Leadership

a. A sense of urgency to get the things done with high quality (Non- negotiable).

b. Grit and tenacity to work with ambiguous information with tight timelines.

c. Out of the box thinking to common business problems.
