General Manager - Finance & Compliance - CA

Role Summary:

Financials and statutory compliance management leadership for an Indian Company with linked overseas accounts that would include strategies & planning, forecasting & budgeting, accounting management system and reports & MIS.

Essential Functions & Key responsibilities:

Financial Leadership:

- Strategize, plan, and implement a robust financial management system with all the required controls, checks & balance and ensure adherence to the same while mitigating any associated risks.

- Quarterly and annual Forecasts, Budgets, and Projections in consultation with the respective BUs and Project Heads.

- Key stakeholder of Project Commercials in coordination with respective Project Managers.

- Oversee & monitor all aspects of AP & AR of India and associated overseas accounts while being in control of cash flow and treasury management to ensure the adequacy and optimum utilization of funds in respective accounts.

- Primary in charge of payroll processing and associated compliances in consultation & coordination with the HR Team.

- Standalone and consolidated Financial Statements & Reports with MIS to facilitate management decisions.

- Lead financial IT system implementation with functional domain expertise.

- Purchase & procurement with asset & inventory management.

- Dealing with banks for Company's banking needs.

Compliance Leadership:

- Derive and prepare data & information for financial and statutory compliance.

- Ensure all compliance-related payments, and filing of returns are done before the due dates.

- Consult, coordinate, and manage relationships with all related consultants in India & Overseas.

Essential Qualifications:

- CA, preferably with additional qualification (or credentials) of CS.

Experience:

- 10+ years of experience out of that min 5 years in Finance & Compliance management leadership role in a mid-size company, preferably in a service industry.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

- Proficiency in analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and MIS.

- Well versed with international subsidiary financial management system including forex.

- Ability to manage effectively an evolving & developing Finance & Compliance setup with underlying constraints and challenges thereof.

- Expert level knowledge and experience in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling & financial software.

- Possesses a strong analytical & problem-solving approach with strong attention to detail & accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with effective leadership qualities
