General Manager - Finance - BFSI/Mfg/Telecom

Areas of responsibility & brief description :

Accounting & Reporting & Banking :

- Overall responsibility for Accounting.

- Managing day to day accounting, Variance Analysis and Balance sheet.

- Responsible for reporting & submission of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual MIS's.

- Instrumental in setting up the accounting structure and formulating accounting policies.

Cash flow Management & Banking :

- Support in drafting Annual Business plan, Budget and Periodic Forecasts.

- Sparring partner to Head of Finance.

Taxation & Auditing :

- Responsible for departmental proceedings by Service Tax Department & Income Tax Departments.

- Ensuring timely assessment & filing of tax returns.

- Coordinating with internal & statutory auditors for conducting audits; evaluating internal control systems to highlight shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations, process and Systems.

- Evaluating and implementing systems & procedures with a view to ensure smooth functioning of finance & accounting operations across the organization.

- Monitor adherence to processes and standard operating systems.

People Management :

- Recruiting and selecting skilled candidates.

- Monitoring the performance and plan development to ensure efficiency in operations.
