General Manager - F&A - Qualified CA [who can speak in Bengali]

Qualified CA with at least 15yrs of experience & Bengali Speaking is a MUST

Client: A Retail client of WEN, they have 42 showrooms in 4 states

Key Accountability:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

- Conduct financial audits and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risks.

- Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax filings and corporate governance standards.

- Ensuring proper maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records of all company documentation, including board meetings and resolutions.

- Advise on legal and regulatory matters affecting the company, including changes in corporate laws and regulations.

- Internal Audits and liaise with external auditors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.

- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

- Identify and mitigate financial risks and opportunities.

- Assist in the development and execution of business plans and initiatives.

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

- Ensure the professional development and training of team members.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualified must

- Minimum of 15 years of experience out which 3-4 years in a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and corporate governance.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
