General Manager - Finance & Accounts

This opportunity is with Mahindra & Mahindra, Mohali location.

The GM Finance & Accounts will be responsible for leading core Finance & Accounts (F&A) functions, ensuring process efficiency, financial integrity, and digital transformation. This role demands expertise in financial operations, compliance, investment management, and technology driven process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare Business cases For Corporate and Financial Institutions. To facilitate senior management to take business decisions.

- Product Costing to know the product cost and its various elements. To decide selling price by doing valuation of Bills of Material, Calculation of conversion cost per product and per activity.

- Project Capitalization of Assets and Equipments procured on site.

- To comply with statutory requirements and company policy by preparing proper additions schedule and maintaining fixed assets register.

- Lead finance transformation initiatives through automation and digitization.

- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and performance KPIs.

- Use advanced data analytics to provide strategic insights and recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: CA / CMA / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.

- Experience: 15 years of experience post qualification experience in Analytics, Forecasting & MIS in SAP Environment preferably in Manufacturing Automotive industry, FMCG, Consumer Durable of large-scale companies.

- Strong understanding of financial systems, ERP (SAP, Oracle, or similar), and data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

- Proven experience in finance digitization, automation, and process improvement.

- Leadership experience with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and manage teams.
