Scrabble is looking to hire GM - Enterprise Sales for a global market accelerator for Light Engineering equipment.

They are in process of developing technology that Eliminates Redundant communication up to pre-engineering, Automates Time consuming documentation Feature selection, Delegates Execution work including inspection, monitoring & trials. Their productization tool will match buyers with products faster. Giving suppliers access to developed markets and buyers a reliable procurement channel. To Unlock your export potential for Suppliers and Amazon like experience in buying light engineering products for Buyers. They have raised $3.3m in seed capital from prominent VCs, Engineering conglomerates and industry / startup ecosystem leaders.

About the Role

Position: General Manager - Sales

Location: Anywhere in India

Role :

We are looking for a Sales leader to lead enterprise sales functions. The responsibilities of the incumbent include overseeing the daily sales activities, meeting with major clients, writing sales reports, designing effective sales strategies, and suitably positioning the company products and services with the target audience.

To be successful as a Sales leader, one must possess good leadership skills and the ability to drive company success. An in-depth knowledge of the market and competitive products and an excellent customer service orientation with interpersonal and communication skills, would be imperative for someone to thrive and grow in this role.

Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.

- Identify new business opportunities and develop GTM strategies to penetrate new markets like APAC, SEA & Europe.

- Identify and execute improvements in sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals and provide detailed sales forecasts.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Work with the marketing teams to enhance company's product-market fit and maximise brand recognition.

- Evangelise the product and personally help close the largest deals. Work collaboratively across teams - including Engineering, Product and Marketing.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Monitor the market and competitors to provide input to the management on the overall strategy.

- Provide regular sales reports and analysis to the executive team.

- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to achieve performance goals and objectives.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field.

- 8-10 years of sales experience in the engineering equipment industry.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

- Good to have a strong understanding of the food processing, packaging, and agricultural equipment industry.

- Excited by selling into new markets, negotiating complex deals, and beating the competition in head-to-head opportunities.

- Past sales exposure in International Markets.

- Strong leadership and management skills.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Ability to analyse sales data and adjust strategies accordingly.

- Willingness to travel as required.

- Ability to deliver in an agile startup environment.
