Introducing and expanding market share in the E Commerce business.
Key Job Functions
Own and manage the P&L responsibilities of Company's E-Commerce Business in India.
Define overall strategy and ensure that it is in line with the company's vision.
Devise and execute the revenue generation plan.
Build strong relationship with alliance partners to improve traction and branding.
Lead and develop the e-commerce team
Shape the overall framework of the IT system for the E-commerce platform
Innovative ways of building brand awareness and focus on growing business.
Responsible for the pre-launch and post launch strategy for the ecommerce business.
Direct the activities of all functions involved in the purchasing, planning, warehousing and control of materials from the receipt of forecasting replenishment needs to the delivery of the finished product into finished goods inventory and delivery of products to customer(s).
Manage inventory and establishes controls to ensure the Organization is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.
Responsible for the budget planning, layout of the ecommerce teams across hierarchy, leveraging the existing systems across the group, integration with existing state of the art systems and procedures, scalability of the ecommerce revenues and online sales, day to day operations of the ecommerce venture.
Responsible for integration of different teams across Marketing, sourcing, technology, catalog development, merchandising, supply chain, shared services (HR, legal, finance) etc. and create a well rounded off and integrated team for the E-commerce business.
Key Skills/Abilities
Minimum of 10 -15 years of experience out of which at least 5 years should be in leading high caliber teams especially in E-commerce.
Entrepreneurial nature and mindset with the ability to set up E Commerce business from scratch.
Innovative and data focused,
Exceptional leadership qualities - team and people skills.
Should be able to deal with uncertainty.
Familiar with the complete e-commerce value chain to manage the business end-to-end.
Graduate with a MBA in Marketing
