Specific Responsibilities:
- The Commercial DGM/GM has a key role in optimizing the sustainable commercial success, as he/she will be responsible for oversight of the business
- Ensure that production quality meets all required regulations, while also negotiating with purchasers to sell the products at the highest price.
- Continuous improvement through collaboration with the commercial finance team.
- Knowledge on Tea, Coffee and pepper products must/desirable
- Knowledge on the potential Export market for Tea, Coffee and Pepper
- Knowledge on Private Labeling Domestic/ Export, forward sales and other value addition opportunities for Tea, Coffee and Pepper
- Maximize positive project cash flow through highlighting invoicing opportunities and provide proactive support in the collection of outstanding invoices.
- Support and assist Heads of Discipline with preparing and presenting yearly budgets and Group reforecasts.
- Adhere to processes and systems on various channels of sales, modify wherever necessary.
- Planning for the auctions, through market intelligence and price trends.
- Meet monthly revenue targets for Tea, Coffee, Pepper and others if any and close new business deals by coordinating the requirements, negotiating contracts, and integrating partner needs.
- Provide timely inputs to senior management on improving business relationships and create an environment for improved customer service.
- Mapping the customer and with entire expansion details and developing sales plan for Exports, direct Sales to Retailers /
- Expansion of the product to new geographies along with improving sales in existing areas
- Work closely with the partners/buyers to understand their pain points, and adequately explain pickup features and benefits to their needs to help promote s ales.
- Preparation of Sales plan in line with production plan as per budget.
- Ensure timely collection of payments, Payment of Taxes, Transfer of funds to HO.
- Should be able to handle potential clients when on the field as the first in command. Keep partner satisfaction at the core of every touch point with the partner.
- Experience in dynamic pricing of various commodities
