Main purpose : Providing high-level executive assistance and requisite administrative support to the Group Chairman in the following areas Financial Management: supporting GCM with Group financial planning and analysis, treasury management, capital allocation, banking relations and investors relations. Keep a tap of upcoming finance and tax regulations and its impact on group. Support in handling asset level financial planning, budgeting, financing and M&A deals across the group. Support in conducting performance reviews, conducting financial modelling and restructuring for large business house
Technology Programs Management: Driving AI initiative for the Group including steering group level transformation innovation initiatives, and keep a track of ongoing OT/IT projects within the group. Keep a tap on changes in technology landscape and help aligning group level technology to adapt new changes.
New Business: Study and research of new business opportunities, develop high level Go/No GO hypothesis, Study competitor actions and strategies in potential growth business.
Sports Platform : Support Group Chairman in monitoring performance of existing sports assets of the group. Analyse proposal for new investments,
- Supporting Chairman: keeping the Chairman informed about global news, preparing various communication materials and fixing appointments with key figures,.

3. Key Accountabilities:
A. Finance Management and Analysis of Budgets and Financial Statements
Performance Management & Budgeting:
- Independently handle business planning, budgeting, and performance reviews for large business houses with multiple operations in India and abroad.
- Skilled in preparing and analysis of business plans and budgets at the group level.
- Designed and implemented business performance management systems like Balanced Scorecard, MPCP, and performance monitoring.
- Hands-on experience in financial modelling, budget preparation, project fundraising from banks/PE, product costing, and cost management.
Analysis of Budgets and Financial Statements:
- Identify areas for cost control and reduction at the department level.
- Follow up with Business Sector SPOCs to ensure closure of identified issues in financial statements.
- Conduct financial restructuring, including reducing finance charges and ensuring correctness.
- Controlled budget vs. actual revenue and expenditure for group companies.
B. Technology Programs Management
- Digital Transformation: Envision, evaluate, and implement digital transformation for centrally sponsored programs involving technologies such as GenAI, IoT, RPA, Process Mining, etc.
- Innovation Initiatives: Steer group-level innovation initiatives across business units, in partnership with the Innovation head, to ensure seamless integration and implementation of group innovation strategy.
- Risk Management: Anticipate risks associated with innovation projects, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
- Root Cause Analysis: Guide centrally sponsored programs for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) related to technology and recommend step-by-step corrective measures.
- Knowledge Sharing: Be a go-to person for knowledge sharing across business units for initiatives related to technology and be informed about all the technology-related initiatives within the group.
- Stakeholder Communication: Keep GCM and other senior stakeholders informed about the evolving technological landscape, global business trends, and new business transformation initiatives.
C. Working Closely with Group Chairman (GCM)
- Managing Promoter's Office: Experience in managing the promoter's office for a business house is preferred.
Finance Regulations: Support GCM with the latest updates on finance regulations related to RBI, SEBI, etc.
Support in GHB AOP Reviews (Full Year + Mid Year):
- Draft the calendar for GHB AOP reviews of sectors for the full year and mid-year, aligning with GHB dates.
- Prepare senior management review presentations and prepare sector-wise action trackers.
Support in BSC of GCM:
- Cascade BSC of GCM by supporting goal setting for CEOs and sector heads
- Support reviews by GCM, finalised, and share the 'approved' goal sheets with the team
- Support GCM on financial-performance assessments as needed.

5. Dimensions:
- Financial Dimensions: Supporting GCM on the latest updates regarding finance regulations, preparing MIS, GCMO budgets, and monitoring the same.
- Other Dimensions: Key focus on activities in entities like DIAL, GHIAL, GADL, GAL, ALD, GGIAL, CEBU, Energy, T&UI (Highways, DFCC, Construction, SEZ), GCS, SSC HR OPS, Property Division, CSW, RAXA, Edu
+ Hospital, and JVs from time to time. From technology programs perspective, you may handle projects related to IT, Innovation and transformation as necessary.
6. Skills and Knowledge
- Educational Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech /CA/Any Other. MBA from premium institute.
Relevant and Total Years of Experience :
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in working in a conglomerate with experience in managing programs related to finance and technology
- Good financial and commercial acumen, project management skills, communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks with a strong drive for execution and result orientation.
- Ability to steer GCM-sponsored transformation projects, steer group innovation initiatives and technology interventions as required
- Stakeholder management and relationship building, drive for results even in non-reporting relationships.
