Job Purpose:

- We are a leading Indian manufacturing organization with a strong legacy of innovation, sustainability, and excellence in our industry.

- As we continue to expand and strengthen our presence in domestic and international markets, we are looking for a seasoned resource for Corporate Affairs to join our leadership team.

- This role will be key in engaging with government bodies and driving relationships to navigate the system.

Responsibilities:

Government Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build and maintain relationships with government officials, regulators, local bodies, communities, and policy influencers at the local, state, and central levels.

- Lead the organization's engagement with government policy development, ensuring the company's interests are well-represented.

- Advise senior leadership on potential risks or opportunities related to government regulations, practices.

- Work on the ground to resolve issues, if any, related to govt regulations, etc.

Economic Insight & Policies:

- Stay abreast of national and economic trends, latest govt policies and integrate into stakeholder relations strategies.

Key Competencies:

- Effective communication skills, with the ability to represent the organization to a wide variety of audiences.

- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with government stakeholders, industry bodies, and the media.

- Good analytical and thinking skills, with an understanding of economics and its implications on business operations.

- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Good resilience and ability to work in high pressure environment.

- High integrity

Experience and Education:

- 15- 20 years of experience in similar roles.

- Postgraduate degree in commerce, management from a reputed University/Institute.
