Qualification: BE - Civil Engineering

Experience: Min. 20- 25 years

- Experience in road projects is must.

- Area of experience - Heading the Contract and Legal department and responsible for the Contract function of all projects of all vertical.

- Administration of contracts & Legal.

- Preparing contract change notices, monitor contractor performance, including RFQ, the reporting and status of contractor and owner deliverables.

- Reviewing bids from other firms for conformity to contract requirements determines acceptable bids.

- Negotiating contract with customer or bidder. Requesting or approving amendments to or extensions of contracts.

- Co-ordinating complete team (Highways, Mining, Railways, Energy Infrastructure, Water & Irrigation, Building & Factories).

- Handling contracts function involving claims/ variation order, tendering, evaluation of rate structure determining objectives, implementing systems, etc.

- Dealing with JV partners. In depth knowledge of contract management.

- Liaising with the client on critical aspects of contract management to understand the client's requirements on execution methods, quality & safety requirements on an ongoing basis.

- Helping hand to Estimation and Marketing Department with reference to project BOQ.

- Effective Arbitration and Legal matters Handling.

- Monitor contractual obligations (commercial and technical).

- Effective handling & Negotiation with Lawyers.:

- Soft skill: commercial acumen, communication and presentation skill, interpersonal skill, problem solving skill, negotiation skill etc
