About our Client - Our client is a globally renowned conglomerate with investments across the Media space across - Print, Television and Radio. They are market leaders in India and are planning to expand their operations further. Due to their stringent compliance requirements they are looking for a dynamic professional to as their General Manager - Compliance.

Job Description - Reporting to the Group Head of compliance and managing a team of 8 people you would be responsible for:

- Ensuring regulatory compliance with minimal risk exposures and adherence to best industry practices within the permitted legal/regularity environment

- Provide assistance to various management reports on regulatory and compliance management to the top management/shareholders and to the board

- Implementing the Companies Code of Financial Conduct amongst journalists whilst monitoring the stories written by them and the impact on the stock process of the concerned reporting companies

The Successful Candidate - You are a qualified CS, LLB or CA, CA with at least 10 years of post qualification experience working in a leading services or media organisation. You must have a background with a Big-4 or consulting firm with a specific understanding of Ethics and Integrity. You must have a strong expertise in managing the compliance function, regulatory working exposure with the Stock Exchanges and corporate governance. You must be dynamic, consultative and have a strong track record of success with your previous organisations.
