Reports to: Director
Responsible for: Delivering profitable income for Organisation through managing and representing the respective team/(s).
Experience : To have 10 years or more of experience in the same or related industry and marketing background.
Purpose of Role: Devise, lead and implement the business plan for Practice with a view to increase business and profits.
Job Description -
Revenue Targets
- Set Group Revenue Targets in accord with the Director for incremental business of existing clients and ensure fulfilment.
- To create and develop commercial opportunities with existing clients maximising account and revenue growth.
- Interact and build relationships with key client contacts, manage relationships and build networks to develop and enhance business success.
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
- Managing the P&L of all projects at a board approved level.
- Ensuring timely management of client receivables.
Cross Selling / Up Selling -
- Facilitate communication between offices to increase cross selling.
- Identify, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across the current client base and bring new opportunities to the business.
- To build a pipeline of future work and ensure that the company's existing client revenue target is achieved.
- To identify, initiate and nurture relationships with partner companies, sister concerns and different department of an existing client.
Strategic Objectives -
- Study market, competitor as well as economic activity and trends and lead the annual business planning/ functional planning exercise, review and approve plans in line with overall company plans and monitor implementation.
- Study best practices, recommend implementation within the company & function, review and monitor implementation of various project initiatives (such as - process improvement, cost reduction etc.), seek approval for or jointly decide on budget spends etc.
- Build Organisation brand among media and large corporations.
- Effectively address client satisfaction, renewal and escalation issues until resolved.
- Identify, develop and build differentiators in client offerings.
- To input into the strategic direction and associated tactics of client accounts based on a strong understanding of their marketing and business objectives.
- To drive client service excellence and a culture of delighting clients.
- To promote the company's vision and values.
Training & Team -
- Ensure delivery standards of team within expectation of our clients and those managing/referring businesses.
- Link to regional/global account management teams to ensure continuous growth in account business.
- Develop common marketing materials/collaterals/research.
- Guide and motivate subordinates and team members, set performance objectives and KRAs, conduct performance assessment, identify subordinate's training and development needs.
- Participate in recruitment process, interview prospective candidates, review, recommend and seek necessary approvals.
- Create an environment of healthy inter departmental coordination with other departments.
- To be responsible for self-development and to participate in the company performance development process.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and coaching and mentoring individuals.
Process Adherence -
- Driven by the - Commitment of providing highly effective & quality standard of services to clients & candidates for maintaining a long term relationship
- Managing internal and external processes including, departmental MIS, Reviews, Training, Forecasts, etc. on weekly and monthly basis.
- Ensure adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures of the department.
- To carry out all duties in accordance with company policies and standards
- Deliver all aspects with the HR including recruitment, review, appraisals
- Maintaining confidentiality & Non-disclosure for the departmental work
- Deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Qualifications -
- Advanced Degree in business, marketing.
- Should have strong media relations and excel in Client Servicing and Content Writing with the ability to maintain and extend client relationships.
- Assertive and able to take charge of a situation when appropriate with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
