Job Description :
- The GM is often responsible for setting the overall direction and strategy for the civil engineering department or division within an organization.
- This involves analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for growth, and developing plans to achieve organizational goals.
- Overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of civil engineering projects. This includes managing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- This includes understanding client needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction with the services provided.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks and hazards associated with civil engineering projects. This includes conducting risk assessments, implementing appropriate safety measures, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
