General Manager - Business Excellence - Retail

Fortune 500 company is looking for General Manager-Business Excellence for 3 of its retail businesses.

Position : General Manager - Business Excellence (Apparel & Retail Sector)

Job Purpose / Key Accountabilities

Development, Program Management and execution of broad-based, company-wide Business Excellence program for 3 businesses. Ensure alignment of the Business Excellence initiative with the Group's Excellence Framework.

Build a culture of process excellence & continuous improvement across 3 businesses

Candidate should have experience in handling 1+ crore of Excellence budgets

The impact of the Role is to instil the culture of Business Excellence & continuous improvement through the execution of the Group's Excellence Framework across the 3 businesses.

Net Contribution on an annualized basis (Year 2 onwards) can be expected to be in the region of 1% of Revenues

Education: MBA / B.Tech / CA

Experience: 10 -15

Essential accomplishments/experience

- Operational experience (Sales / Marketing, Sourcing, Operations, Design) of around 5 years

- Sound knowledge of Process Improvement methodologies / Business Excellence Frameworks. Relevant experience of around 5 years, in conceptualizing the Quality initiative and executing it.

- Preferably Certified EFQM / CII Framework

- Preferably Black Belt Certified or Master Black Belt Certified
