GM - Business Development & Sales (assigned region)
Reports to: VP - Business Development & Sales
Male/Female of 18 + years of experience in the areas of Engineering Services, Building Management, Housekeeping, Hotel, etc. is necessary.
Ensuring business growth by acquisition of new business in the assigned region as per approved company targets and plans
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Identify markets, client needs and opportunities develop profitable IFM solution in a timely and efficient manner. Have a thorough understanding of target markets and be able to justify the focus of effort on them. Ensure budgeted sales & profitability.
2. Identification and penetration of strategic and large accounts, using all resources to ensure the company wins these accounts.
3. Plan go-to-market strategy and action the same, by building the required pipeline of opportunities, presenting an end-to-end solution to the clients and bagging the business at a premium.
- Continuous evaluation of business opportunities offering synergies with the company's strengths & competencies. Analyze market trends to identify growth segments, prepare requisite opportunity & feasibility study, with supporting financial analysis for viable business propositions
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY IN DETAIL
1. Ensure achievement of region-wide sales goals as per sales objectives, budgets, and plans through an assigned team of sales personnel.
2. Create and implement effective sales strategies for the assigned region. Identify prospective business opportunities and work towards closing them.
3. Serve as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions.
4. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and ensure the same is achieved. Ensure proper record and analysis of monthly/annual sales records and MIS.
- Analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
5. Propose a solution that not only addresses the Client's requirements and concerns but also adds value and differentiates Company's offerings from its competitors;
6. Ensure effective negotiation skills to close the sale at the highest price possible.
Specific Skills Required:
- Sound understanding of the drivers of IFM Industry.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Should have dealt in communicating at the Top Management (i.e.) at CXO level and has good phone etiquette.
