The company produces excellent quality writing and printing paper, and they are the leading manufacturer of tissue and board, as well as Rayon Grade Pulp (RGP) products. They have the largest single location manufacturing facility in India with estimated revenue of $24.1 million. Our client continues to be the committed employer of the local community and has achieved many international standards like OHSAS and FSC as a leading producer of pulp and paper.
As the GM - Business Development (NPD), you will be shepherding and commercializing new products and process for the company.
What you will do:
- Identifying New product/ Processes that could lead to enhancing company value proposition to different segments and thus increase MS, the Price premium
- Capturing (NPD) New Product Development ideas from:
- Customer Insights
- R&D development projects
- Competition Benchmarking
- Managing & Anchoring the NPD funnel, shepherd the commercialization process.
- He/she will be responsible for launching new products & strengthening the existing brands.
- Preparing & implementing promotional strategies that should be creative
- Designing Promotional/communication strategies for the various brands of the organization.
- Ensuring Monthly / Quarterly brand review & monitoring.
- Co-ordination with all support function for effective implementation of marketing strategy.
Candidate Profile:
What you need to have:
- MBA in Marketing, 12 - 15 yrs in Sales and Marketing out of which minimum 2-3 yrs as Marketing Manager / DGM Marketing handling Paper/ Board industry
- Exceptional in launching new products and strengthening existing brands.
- Well organized with a track record that demonstrates self-motivation, creativity, and initiatives to achieve both personal and corporate goals.
- Strong articulation skills and ability to stand ground on his / her recommendation
- Ensures alignment of all internal and external stakeholders
- Strong systems and process orientation
- Passionate and deep knowledge of Paper/ Board industry and evolving consumer need
