General Manager/AVP - Manufacturing Operations - FMCG/Wellness

Our client is a large and a rapidly growing Multi-domain wellness and FMCG organization. Their products include Personal care, Skin Care, Nutracueticals, Cosmetics, Food, Wellness, Ayurveda and other products. They manufacture for their own brands as well as their clients. They have a large number of offices and branches across India.

They are hiring for an ambitious and self-driven Operations Head. The Operations Head is a key member of the leadership team and will report to the CEO. As the Ops Head, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall Manufacturing and Distribution operations strategy which is crucial for the growth and success of the orgn.

The incumbent will be responsible for (amongst others) :

- Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision and operational strategy

- Manage Manufacturing Operations of Own plants and Contract Manufacturing with a team of 500+

- Responsible for driving business strategy and operations in Indian and international markets for FMCG ranges in Food, Cosmetics and Ayurveda product

- Oversee effective Supply Chain, Warehousing, Distribution and also Packaging strategies

- Aggressively manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves targets related to growth and profitability

- Ensuring the delivery of volume, asset capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining quality standards

- Responsible for all business metrics relating to Cost, Safety Quality & Delivery

- Accountable for Budget preparation & Its compliance in the operation.

- Ensure 100% Regulatory and Statutory compliance and Internal Audits & Controls

The ideal candidate would be :

- MBA with 15 to 25 years of experience

- Have good experience in managing manufacturing operations

- Have experience of working in a Pharma, Cosmetics, Wellness or FMCG organization (MUST HAVE)

- Have experience in Contract Manufacturing Operations (Preferred)

- Have experience in managing of large Supply Chain, Warehousing, distribution networks

- Have experience of Customer Management, Product Costing, Customer Satisfaction

- Have experience of engaging with Senior Leadership teams

- Have good communication, leadership and presentation skills

- We will prefer strong domestic experience within the past 5 years

- Be ready to relocate to Delhi NCR
