Experience:

- 15+ plus years of relevant experience;

- Consolidation of Accounts at group level

- ERP - Oracle Hyperion

Role Summary:

- To partner with Regional Finance Controllers to help drive and implement process improvements, process standardization, provide technical support to entities across the group Accounts & Consolidation

Key Job Responsibilities :

- Strategic Vision and Leadership

- Develop and articulate the strategy and business plan for the function in alignment with the organizational strategy and business plan

- Define long-term and short-term objectives for the function

- Oversee the complete operation of the function in accordance with the direction established in the business plan

- Financial Accounting & Controls

- Drive high standards of integrity and hygiene of financial data

- Define and drive processes for accurate accounting of financial transactions in line with the accounting standards and practices

- Ownership of Consolidation of group financial statements as per Indian GAAP

- Partner with Regional Finance Controllers to help, drive and implement process improvements

- Analytical review of the financial statements, budgetary control, planning and analysis & MIS

- Finalization of financial statements and coordination with auditors

- Preparation and submission of financial statements, cash flow projections, annual budgets and business plans

- Provide technical support to entities across the group, group reporting, pro-actively collaborate across all work streams for effective data exchange and validation

- Define and drive processes for periodic review of financial statements to ensure that the financial statements give a true and fair view of the assets and liabilities of the organization

- Define and drive process controls for appropriate management of assets and liabilities and to minimize frauds and mistakes

- Define and drive processes to strengthen controls and governance

- Define and drive the MIS framework and metrics for the function (P&L statements, Balance Sheets, MIS reports etc.)

- Drive implementation of changes in financial accounting and control processes as per changes in the statutory requirements and standards

- Review and finalize statutory audits with the auditors

- Manage all queries, information requests and clarifications on financial accounting matters sought by internal and external stakeholders

- Identify potential areas for automation in financial accounting and controls and introduce automation inconsultation with the relevant stakeholders

- Align the functioning of Group Accounts and Commercial functions to enhance quality of reporting information and controlling duplication of activities
