Job Description - Reporting to the Head Finance, you will be overseeing a large team with your main responsibilities including:

- Leading and supporting global accounting projects and strategic projects for Asia Pacific

- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies and pro actively questioning processes and procedures

- Working with other teams both within and outside India to ensure that financial data processing and reporting is consistent and accurate.

- Ensuring that accounting policies, procedures and controls are followed.

- Coordinating quarterly reviews and year end audits for US close and Statutory closes as needed.

- Reviewing account reconciliations and fluctuation analysis as needed.

- Partnering and assisting with the Tax function.

The Successful Candidate - You must be a professional with over five years of post qualification experience within the accounting domain. A Chartered accountant or CPA degree will be considered as a strong positive in your candidature. The ability to analyze large amounts of data, determine root causes of problems, recommend actions, and drive the implementation of those actions independently will be pivotal in your selection. Strong communication skills with prior experience in interacting with global stakeholders is a must.
