General Ledger & Account Receivable Controller - CA - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities :-

GL Manager for :

- Month-end, quarter-end and year-end dosing

- Quarterly balance sheet and P&L Fluctuation Analysis

- Inter-company transactions and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting

- Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and compliance to internal policies

- Balance sheet accounts reconciliations

- Responsible for clearing open items in various GL account

Receivables :-

- Preparation and circulation of debtors Ageing Report in agreed template

- Regular collection update to be ensured in SAP as well as collection plan

- Review of Debtors Ledger on regular basis

- Compiling the debtors data including collection plan and flash

- PDC management

- Annual reconciliation of Debtors as per Company policies and procedures

- Follow ups for Inter Company Receipts

- Monthly Reconciliation of Inter Company Balances

- Review of Credit Balances in Debtors Account

- Overall management of Debit/Credit Notes

- Ensure timely booking of all the incoming collections

Reporting :-

- Monthly Quarterly / annual Reporting of receivables only Inter Company

- Preparation of Insurance report

- Overall monitoring of Provision for Bad and Doubtful debts and monthly update to Business Finance Team and discussing the basis of provision.

Letter of credit ( For Domestic and Export Sales)

- Checking of letter of credits as per checklist/applicable requirements.

- Interactions with Business finance ( for amendment etc)

- Interactions with banks (for advising of LC)

- Submission of documents to bank

- Follow up with bank for realization of funds on due dates

Sales Accounting :-

- Creation and authorizing of sales Invoices only for I/C.

- Creating of IC invoices

Passing of Commission Debit Notes :-

- Checking correctness of debit notes as per commission payables.

- Arranging for payments to commission agents.

- Annual Reconciliation with Commission Agents.

b. Cash and Banking transactions

- Ensure compliance to all RBI/FEMA regulations so that no non- compliance get reported to RBI by monitoring all BOE submission through interaction vvh: AP team, timely closing of Imports Legs in case of merchant leg.

c. Managing the expectations of various stakeholders by providing relevant inputs, reports, support, services as per agreed SLAs and procedures. For examples:

- Ensuring timely issuance of LCs/Bid bond/Performance Bond, etc.

- Escalation to treasury manager if SLAs are not met by banks

- Reviewing of bank charges to ensure that these are as per the agreement with banks

- Getting the BRC issued from Bank

d. Audits :-

- Internal Audits ( Coordination and finalization for receivables and sales commission expenses & Banking Operations)

- Statutory Audits ( Coordination and Finalization for Receivables, sales and commission expenses & Banking Operations)

- Transfer Price Audits ( Preparation of export details as per requirements).
