Role Summary/Purpose : This will be a key role in Finance transformation team of Asia with primary responsibility to drive process improvements by introducing standardization, automation and increased systems utilization. Candidate need to have thorough understanding of business processes and Finance systems.

Essential Responsibilities :

- Understand and analyze identified process pain points to scope out areas where process/systems changes are to be implemented

- Exercise subject matter expertise to lead and implement both process and systems changes

- Lead, analyze and evaluate requirements for system solutions and enhancements that improve business processes and/or provide increased controllership

- Understand GAAP and STAT accounting regulations to align business processes with overall organizational priorities

- Define detailed functional requirements in a partnership with IT while minimizing the need for system customization

Desired Qualifications :

- Business Reporting tools experience such as usage of Business Objects

- Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change

- Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas - Project management experience with multi-national resources

- Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations

- Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others

- Basic understanding of financial compliance: SOX, GAAP

- Experience working in a matrixed environment

- Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma

- Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows
