GDPR Compliance Role - Data Privacy/Data Protection - Investment Bank

The individual will oversee local Privacy Office staff, and will collaborate on privacy projects and initiatives as assigned. Additionally, the individual will serve as one of the principal points of contact for the investigation and management of data incidents involving personal data. The Regulatory Compliance Officer will report to the Privacy Office's Global Lead of Breach Management.

Responsibilities - 

- Oversee multiple individuals to ensure that they have a clear understanding of their scope of responsibilities, objectives, training, and competency requirements

- Support the Global Lead of Breach Management in reviewing and advising on data breaches involving personal data that impact individuals globally

- Liaise with multiple stakeholders involved with data incidents (inclusive of compliance, legal and management stakeholders)

- Maintain and distribute management reporting

- Complete additional tasks as assigned in a timely manner

Qualifications - 

- Minimum undergraduate degree, legal degree strongly preferred

- Prior experience in compliance, audit or similar

- Prior experience managing multiple individuals concurrently

- Strong project management, analytical, communication, presentation, and organizational skills

- Ability to generate, maintain and distribute management reporting

- Previous experience with investigating and dispositioning personal data incidents preferred

- Ability to multitask and produce high quality deliverables

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
