OBJECTIVES & VALUES :

The role requires an individual to manage the operations of GlobalData's Wealth Insights division - from conceptualization of product to its delivery. The role requires the individual to handle a team of analysts and senior analysts and review their work. The role also requires the individual to select appropriate research methodology and supporting techniques to deliver the syndicated/ custom research content.

As a Project Manager you are expected to contribute towards achieving the objectives of GlobalData's Financial Services research division and above all, you are to achieve the personal objectives outlined.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Team Management : Manage team of Research Analysts in the production of content - primarily reports. Train these analysts in report writing and analysis and monitor their performance such that they produce good quality products across our product offering.

- Develop industry expertise : Develop expertise within the area Financial Services sector and the implementation of technology and recent trends across various verticals. Maintain and provide timely responses to market issues and offer up to date opinions.

- Master communication skills : Across research and consulting assignments, you will need to ensure excellent written and oral communication for the team. You will need to help the team hone their writing skills to be precise and efficient, minimizing the length of research documents while maximizing the value to clients.

- Provide effective client support : Build client relationships and understand client objectives and needs. Support our clients with timely and high-value analyst support. Provide content and knowledge support to the sales and marketing teams. Support our sales channel partners to add credibility to the sales.

- Build strategic involvement : Offer insight in your area of expertise to team planning meetings. In conjunction with your Practice Head, contribute to the direction of the team, particularly with regards to new analytical products. Develop a client-centric point of view with regards to ideas for future new products and services.

CORE SKILLS REQUIRED :

- Knowledge of the Financial Services domain

- At least 7 years of post-qualification work experience is a must - off which a minimum 4-5 years on research/consulting side.

- Very strong report writing skills (mandatory)

- Well-honed research skills and the ability to uncover unique insights.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Broad and well developed analytical skills.

- Advanced PC skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.

- Organizational skills including time management, project planning and tracking
