About this Role:

As Team Manager in TSP QA CoE, you would be expected to manage a team of individual contributors involved in analyzing Technology vendor - financials, its products/market standing and build company-specific earnings model. Teams output will contribute to Gartner's major publications of Market Share and Forecast. The job requires excellent mentoring, operational skills and ability to operate in multi-stakeholder environment.

What you'll do:

- Manage team of Individuals working in Devices, Data Center (DC) and IT Services (ITS)

- Key emphasis on individual's productivity, timeliness and continuous workflow (addressing any roadblocks)

- Stakeholder management - regular interactions with the Leadership Team and stakeholders based out of India, Europe and US

- Guide Team for- analyst discussions, understand MS methodology, estimating segment revenues, addressing client inquiries & develop new forecast development

- Understand the market model, influencing factors driving the ITS/Devices/DC markets

- Drive innovation and continuous improvement to develop new and existing data assets

- Provide constructive feedback to Specialists and Sr. Specialist

- Analytical and critical thinking with working knowledge on visualization tools

- Motivate, coach, facilitate, solve work problems, address people-related issues

- Continuously seek feedback from internal stakeholders to further improve on deliverables and existing processes

- Ensuring quality and timeliness for all assignments crucial for Gartner Publications

- Embrace and drive continuous process improvements, knowledge sharing, best practices within the team and also identify and organize relevant trainings

- Manage resource allocation - utilizing existing skills and competencies for project

- Develop good process knowledge and recruit right talent for the team

- Follow internal processes and policies, including, HR, IT and Finance

What you'll need:

- BE/B.Tech/BSc from Grade A engineering/science colleges

- MBA from leading Tier I & II - B-schools

- 8- 10 years of experience in the research industry dealing in different Technology/domain areas like Communication Devices, Hardware and equipments, IT services

- Minimum 2 years of exposure to managing people and recruitment related activities

- Strong data orientation with excellent critical thinking skills.

- Strong analytical skills and ability to think independently; ability to - Triangulate- information

- Strong stakeholder management skills and Project management skills

- Expert in using databases like Factiva, Capital IQ, One Source, Thomson, et al

- Attention to details and ability to quality check large data sets

- Ability to manage and perform a very broad set of responsibilities, often with conflicting time demands Strategic business thinker who can come up with business insights that helps in scaling.

- Someone with an ability to build additional capacity for any unplanned and urgent requirement

- Ability to identify improvement opportunities in existing processes
