The position is responsible for assessing needs, designing and implementing solutions that address the talent sourcing and acquisition needs for the organization. The incumbent will closely work in conjunction with the managers of the department for which they are hiring.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand the requirements and expectations of the job.
- Source and recruit candidates using a variety of channels while effectively targeting the perfect fit for the job
- Complete all pre-screening and screening activities for prospective employees, which includes completing background checks
- Participate in the interviewing process and counsel prospective employees on offer related details such as salary & benefits
- Facilitate smooth on-boarding process for new employees including hiring paperwork as well as assisting with the orientation process
- Areas of focus will include sourcing (optimizing the mix of sourcing channels), talent profile and pipelining, acquisition process, diversity and turnaround time
- Explore the market best practices in talent acquisition and implement appropriate best practices in the organization
- Adhere and operate within the budget and guidelines for all Talent Acquisition projects and initiatives
Capabilities & Requirements:
- MBA - HR from reputed campus
- Proven working experience as a Talent Acquisition specialist for 2+ years in technology industry
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
- Excellent client relationship building & networking skills
- Results driven, able to demonstrate/quantify success relative to established targets and metrics
- Strong ethics and discretion to deal with confidential information
- Social Media Knowledge
