Senior Business Manager, Revenue & Retention
As an SBM - Revenue & Retention you will be owning revenue and margin for one of our brands. The role will involve owning end-to-end DAU Management, Engagement, and Retention activities for meeting day-to-day revenue and margin targets.
Role Description :
- Keep track of day-to-day revenue and margin metrics, take proactive actions to manage numbers
- Coordinating with marketing, product, tech, and customer success team to ensure all inputs are aligned to meet immediate revenue targets
- Continuous monitoring and managing 360-degree view of the business, tracking customer trend, deep dive and solve for any unplanned revenue jump or decline
- Owning and managing all monetization and gamification levers like leaderboards, quests, etc
- Plan, design, and experiment with peak revenue properties/tower events, strategize and develop levers to manage low traffic hours/days
- Driving retention and customer life cycle agenda for the brand, rolling out campaigns and incentive offers to manage DAUs/MAUs
- Owning all customer communication journeys across channels - PNs, SMSs, IVR, In-app, etc.
- Continuous innovation and idea generation to unleash the next level of growth integrating all available levers and coordinating across functions
Who can apply :
- BTech/BE from IIT/NITs, MBA from tier 1 institutes
- Min 3 to 5 years of experience in Revenue, Business Analysis, Analytics, or strategy roles in any high growth internet setup.
- At least one stint in managing headline demand numbers in fast-growing internet startups (Business Development and Supply Driven roles will not be considered)
- Experience in managing customer life cycle, retention, CRM activities for internet consumer business
- Capability to consume/analyze a lot of data, curiosity to understand customer behavior, and ability to build in meaningful and actionable insights
- Bias for action, someone who can seamlessly transition between high-level brainstorming and ground-level execution with a focus on getting things done
- The position requires a "hands-on" person who is self-driven, flexible, and able to work well under pressure.
