POSITION: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to oversee and manage projects from inception to completion. As a Program Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects supported by AETS, large-scale solar/other renewable projects, adhering to budget, timeline, and quality standards. You will be responsible for integrating cross-functional teams at various locations, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving project excellence.

LOCATION: DELHI

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and implement project management processes and methodologies to optimize project delivery and ensure adherence to quality standards. Identify and implement appropriate project management tool/software including educating/training the team.

- Enable senior management decision-making by preparing dashboards, reports, etc. at regular intervals.

- Prepare/standardize dashboards and metrics for measuring project portfolio progress, resource allocation, budget tracking, and other business-related activities.

- Manage the entire lifecycle of large renewable power projects, including planning, development, construction, commissioning, and operation.

- Foster collaboration with functional groups across different locations to achieve company objectives and ensure smooth project execution.

- Establish priorities for different project aspects in consultation with group heads and stakeholders.

- Maintain regular communication with on-site project coordinators.

- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.

- Manage project budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness.

- Monitor resource utilization and collaborate with functional leaders for efficient resource planning and management.

- Manage material procurement and tracking for ongoing projects.

- Collaborate with identified vendors/service providers to ensure coordination, timely action, and compliance. Coordinate with internal teams to support project requirements.

- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges to keep projects on track.

- Generate accurate and timely project status reports throughout the project lifecycle, including operational service performance and compliance measurements.

- Implement and manage changes and interventions to achieve project goals.

- Drive process improvements for existing setups, leveraging tools and systems to benefit programs and projects.

- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and policy changes to inform decision-making and identify new opportunities.

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental sustainability practices, and quality standards in all project activities.

- Contribute to ideation, reviews, and proposal writing for ongoing and future projects within the team.

- Create and manage long-term project and program goals aligned with global ambitions.

EDUCATION:

- Advanced degree (Masters' or MBA) in engineering, renewable energy, business administration, or a related field.

- Professional certifications in project management, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

EXPERIENCE:

- Overall, 5-10 years of relevant work experience in project management, specifically in the renewables / solar/ sustainable energy sector, with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.

- Experience in working with cross-cultural, international environment (work experience with colleagues/vendors in Europe/US is preferred).

- Experience in reporting project progress, performance, and financial metrics to senior management and stakeholders.

SKILLS:

- Strong communication (written and oral) and stakeholder management skills to interact with internal teams, external partners, and senior management.

- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile or PMP certification. Experience in tools like MS Project, Wrike, Asana, Trello etc.

- Excellent leadership and team management skills to effectively lead and coordinate cross-functional teams.

- Understanding of renewable power sector preferably in developed countries/regions e.g., Europe, North America, Australia.

- Ability to analyse project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and make data-driven decisions.

- Strong Coordination and interpersonal skill.

- Independent, self-starter, team-oriented and confident in his or her abilities.

- A team-player with ability to deal with multiple stake holders and cross functional teams.
