What does the role entail?

Our Global Research Centre in Bangalore is driving the company's ambitions to become a leading global player. DMG plays a critical role in our global success and we are looking to scale up our team with high caliber individuals.

As the DMG team lead, you will have operational ownership of a relatively new but highly strategic part of our research vertical.

Your role is centered around the following key pillars:

- Research leadership with passion for high quality output and ability to guide teams and drive best practices

- Drive headcount planning and recruitment - hiring strategy and execution for both campus and lateral hiring

- Team management - you train, develop and motivate team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and personal and professional growth

- Collaboration - Work effectively with (global) stakeholders to drive resource optimization

- Independently lead strategic initiatives - continuously identify and own improvement opportunities with a hands- on/getting things done mindset

What do you need to join us?

- 10+ years experience; latest in a senior- level role for a research / shared services centre for Global IBD, Strategy Consultant, Big 4 or data provider based in India

- You have worked in the financial/professional services industry and have a strong interest in this area

- Successfully managed a team of line managers

- Previous experience and affinity with the PE market is a plus

- Intrigued by and experienced in detailed company analysis and research

- World- class communication skills

- Bias to action - you get a lot done with minimal effort

- Hands- on mindset - you enjoy owning deliverables

- A positive, decisive and empathic management style
