- They have advised various banks, financial institutions, and the Government of India in the various debt-restructuring proposals; with a single proposal amounting to more than Rs. 50,000 Cr.
- Some of the restructuring proposals involved Jaypee Group, Ruchi Soya, Damodar Valley Corporation, and other.
Role Description:
This is a full-time role for a Sr.
Manager Valuation - Tangible Asset.
- The Sr. Manager Valuation - Tangible Asset will be responsible for providing valuation advisory and consultative services related to tangible assets.
The role is located in Gurugram and requires working on-site.
- Liasoning effectively with all the stakeholders (MDs/Partners/Directors/Leads) across the geography and be a go-to person for client service-related matters.
- Building long term client relationships through exceptional client service including a deep understanding of internal and end-clients and their needs, exceptional responsiveness, and delivery of highest quality service and work product.
- Executing, reviewing and/or guiding associates/ leads under supervision on business and/or valuation engagement of diverse nature and purposes of valuation along with maintaining compliances and regulations.
- Building deep mutual understanding and regularly sharing key takeaways/ minutes of meetings and maintaining strong relationship within various teams working on the assignments.
- Inspection of various assets including Residential, Commercial and Industrial properties/assets etc.
- Performing in-depth primary and secondary industry, market and competitor research as well as independently gather data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction, including personal and telephone interviews with brokers and property managers.
- Should have sound knowledge on valuation of real estate assets using all the approaches cost approach, market approach and income approach.
- Addressing to all the clients or auditors' queries regarding the valuation of the subject property/asset
- Designing models based on discounted cash flow method (Advanced MS Excel) and construction cost model including under construction inventory valuation.
- Multi-sector exposure in Steel, Power, mining and minerals, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Paper, Textiles, Logistics, Cement, Fertilizer, Petrochemicals etc.
- Technical Due Diligence, conducting feasibility study and preparing feasibility report/TEV studies of projects.
- Performing analysis of the cost incurred on the projects which are under construction.
- Preparing project status reports for under construction projects.
- Knowledge and ability to analyze financial statements perform ratio analysis and interpretation of the same.
- Performing in-depth study and analysis of legal documents related to Arbitration Claims.
- Assist the team lead to conduct valuations, and also carry out valuation assignments independently.
- Analysis, reconciliation and summarization of data using various software applications such as MS-Excel, MS- PowerPoint and MS-Word.
- Provide feedback for the 'Direct Reportees' under supervision through a pre-framed feedback mechanism in order to keep track of their performance.
- Vetting of expenses for a particular assignment of the team under supervision.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - B. tech preferred.
- Strong knowledge of valuation principles and techniques
- Experience in valuing tangible assets
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Finance background nor required
