A technology product manager wears multiple hats. S/he is accountable for designing the right solution and operating it. S/he understands Omni-channel business and tech landscape a. S/he has an understanding of the operations / tech landscape of brick / mortar retailers whilst driving tech solution with a digital mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to development and tactical activities
- Build, Own and drive the product portfolio and product roadmap
- Work with various teams to define product features and functionality
- Work with engineering counterparts to define product release requirements.
- Work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customers.
- Tracking product success against plan and keeping the business unit management team informed
- Continuously deliver advances in the product by executing against the product roadmap, maintaining a deep understanding of competitive offerings and how they Impact consumer choices and preferences, and how they should influence the product.
Key Challenges :
- Understanding of ERP and legacy packages in brick and mortar retail
- Understanding of integration approaches and the ability to drive a SOA based tech landscape
Key Decisions :
Design / implement digital Omni channel technologies that co-exist with the current landscape Design, Scalable and resilient customer focused tech stack

Educational Qualifications :
Minimum 8 -10 years of relevant experience in software development in Retail / Ecommerce Industry.
B.Tech/B.E. /BCA
Functional Skills :
- They own building new features, tools, processes and businesses
- The customer experience product management team is focused on understanding the needs of online shoppers and coming up with creative and often visionary solutions.
- Product Managers have end to end ownership for improving customer experience on website
- Website experience & product feature releases, analytics, design & usability, customer retention, and product metric such as conversion rate, and customer satisfaction metric
